The full clinical reasoning cycle, inside the app
The OT routine
Less loose paper, more time for the child
A sensory integration practice piles up tasks that never fit into session time.
Notes left for later
The session ends, and the pile of notes is still waiting at the end of the day.
Information all over the place
Schedule in one place, intake forms in another, documents in separate folders.
Reasoning that is hard to see
Connecting concerns, observations and goals takes time and a clear path.
Mira Method
Clinical reasoning in SI, step by step
The Mira Method is the clinical reasoning flowchart created by Samara Costa and taught at PCIS. It guides the OT through phases in sequence, from assessment to goal review, toward sound clinical reasoning in pediatric sensory integration.
Mirabilis brings that path into your daily practice: every note lands in the right phase, and your reasoning stays organized from one session to the next.
Assessment
Intake form, occupational concerns, questionnaires and clinical observations in one flow.
Goals
Goals with a protagonist, occupation, context, measure and timeframe, tracked with GAS.
Intervention
Approaches, actions and guidance for home and school, linked to your hypotheses.
Check
Each goal is reassessed, and progress is logged in the clinical record.
The OT draws the conclusions; the app organizes.
Mirabilis organizes the data so you can decide.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What therapists ask most before getting started.
What is Mirabilis?
Mirabilis is a clinical app for occupational therapists who work with children with sensory integration difficulties. It brings together scheduling, clinical records, intake forms sent by link, reports and documents, and organizes clinical reasoning through the Mira Method, created by Samara Costa.
What is the Mira Method?
The Mira Method is the clinical reasoning flowchart created by Samara Costa and taught at PCIS. Does Mirabilis use artificial intelligence?
The app includes Samia, an assistant that supports your reasoning. She only makes suggestions and never saves anything on her own: you read, decide, and only then does a suggestion become your record.
